Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel in the morning, then head out for local sightseeing in Shimla.
First, visit the Kalibari Temple, built in 1845 and dedicated to Goddess Kali, from whom Shimla gets its name. Next, trek to the top of Jakhoo Hill to see the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman and visit the Christ Church, part of the Diocese of Amritsar.
In the afternoon, make your way to Kufri, traveling through the beautiful Hasan Valley, known for its lovely scenery and pleasant weather.
Stop by the Himalayan Zoo, home to wildlife like felines, antelopes, and various birds, including the Monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. If you’re up for it, you can hike up Mahasu Peak, one of the highest points in Kufri, which offers stunning views of the Badrinath and Kedarnath ranges.
Later in the evening, return to Shimla for your overnight stay.
