Explore the majestic Leh Palace, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, and stroll through the vibrant Leh Market. At the end of the day, you’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay. In the morning, get ready for an exciting trip to Sham Valley. Your first stop will be at Sangam Point, followed by a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the famous Magnetic Hill. You’ll also check out SECMOL, the school highlighted in the movie ‘3 Idiots,’ which helps students who struggled in traditional education. If you’d like, you can try White Water Rafting before heading back to your hotel in Leh for a comfortable overnight stay.
After checking out, get ready to travel to the cold deserts of Nubra Valley via the stunning Khardung La Pass. On your way, stop at the South Pullu checkpost to enjoy some steaming Maggi at the Rinchen Cafe, located on one of the highest all-season motorable passes. Next, visit the famous Diskit Monastery and admire the large statue of Maitreya Buddha. Then, have some fun with an ATV adventure ride in the Hunder Sand Dunes before arriving at your campsite in Nubra for check-in and an overnight stay.
Check out and start your journey to Pangong Lake. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the famous Ladakhi peaks. As you continue, you’ll pass several streams and stop at a lovely Ladakhi village by the Shyok River. Once you arrive at Pangong Lake, settle into your camp and take a stroll along the lake. Enjoy the beautiful changing colors of this saltwater lake with the majestic Himalayas in the background.
After checking out from your camp at Pangong Tso, head back to Leh, passing through the beautiful Chang La Pass. Take a moment to enjoy the peace at Chang La Baba Temple. Next, stop by the Druk Padma Karpo School, famous for being the filming location of several scenes from the movie ‘3 Idiots.’ After that, visit Thiksey Monastery to learn about the cultural heritage of Buddhism in Ladakh. Once you reach Leh, check in to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
After checking out, you will be transferred from your hotel to Leh Airport. Take one last look at the towering peaks as you say goodbye to Ladakh and board your flight home. This marks the end of your trip.
